Pros

I don't have one pro I can offer to anyone considering a sales career here. It is absolutely miserable.

Cons

-I was recruited to join the sales organization, only to have my position eliminated 14 weeks later. -I found out my position was eliminated because my computer shut down. Nobody called me until afterward. -During the interview process, I asked about the health of the team and the sales org and was assured that they were "crushing it," only to be told during layoffs that this team had not made a plan in 3 years. -The head of North American Sales/Co-Founder recruited me and did not have the integrity to reach out to me to offer an explanation as to what happened. -Their team of "SMEs" (and I use the term very loosely) are arrogant and rude. I was warned ahead of time that I needed to "kiss the ring" and that they were like the mean clique from high school, and that is exactly what I experienced. In this day and age, why is that tolerated? -The CEO famously has zero respect for sales. He thinks the software "sells itself." -As a sales person you have no freedom to be creative. You can't even change a slide in a powerpoint slide deck. -Sales isn't enabled to even have access to pricing.

Pros

Phenom offers exceptional flexibility with unlimited PTO and minimal micromanagement. The benefits are top-tier, and the free food in the office is a great perk. Overall, it’s a very employee-friendly environment that values autonomy.

Cons

There is a significant lack of direction within the CV team, with constantly shifting priorities and inconsistent delivery cycles. Methods and tools change frequently, and data collection is manual and inconsistent, frustrating both clients and employees. Furthermore, there is a lack of knowledge sharing between teams, which exacerbates inefficiencies. Leadership also lacks a clear vision for the department’s future, and there is no intuitive framework to streamline processes or deliver value more efficiently, creating ongoing friction for the team.
