Pros
The employees at PGW all make you feel welcome. There are ample opportunities for growth such as a tuition assistance program and trainings. The hours are 40 hours/week and the benefits are great. You have a good work / life balance. There are opportunities to move to other departments if you do not like the one you are working in.
Cons
The policies are strange at PGW. The first is that managers claim that the company does not allow working from home. However, then at work, you meet people who get to work from home. The truth is that there is a telecommuting policy in place but it hasn't left the non-pilot stage. Snow days are not a thing. If you get stuck in a blizzard, you have to take vacation. To me, that is not a vacation. The buildings are filled with mice and cockroaches, but as long as you take allergy medication you will be fine. I have a seen a roach in the cafeteria sitting area. A bit scary at work.
