Pros

Location, corporate HQ located near Temple University's modern / pedestrian friendly campus, proximity to multiple forms of public transit and eateries, off street parking. Ample health insurance, competitive wages, family oriented environment.

Cons

Must live in Philly: retaining and recruiting skilled staff becomes problematic. If corporate HQ relocates away from Temple U. Disparate information eco-systems. Municipal ownership and its respective layers of regulating bodies, restrained evolution of the business model, not enough capital, and a significant poverty stricken customer base requires financial attention.

Pros

Easy work guaranteed 40 hours a week great benefits no lay offs pension 457 or 401k paid sick days holidays and vacation days

Cons

You get penalized for using sick days to easy to lose progressions in the summer time the higher up have less work so they micromanage everything you do new rules are constantly being added it’s not a real union the union works for Pgw so it’s a conflict of interest when it comes time for them to defend you the company always puts the blame on you if they can never find a conclusive answer to a problem
