Pros

The hospital is a beautiful facility and a very well-known name in the Arizona community. The medical staff is highly skilled and often a pleasure to work with. Pay is competitive and the benefits are great. Most of the people you work with truly love kids and enjoy making the environment positive and friendly.

Cons

The healthcare systems used are extremely outdated and clunky. There is a ton of paperwork and most of it is repetitive or redundant. It can be difficult to get any new changes approved. Management is mostly unavailable. A huge con is that there are no annual raises. Everyone gets a cost-of-living adjustment and mine was only 11 cents!

Pros

The culture here is truly exceptional. From day one, I’ve felt supported, encouraged and set up for success. It’s been a genuine joy coming to work each day. What stands out most is how approachable and invested everyone is at every level, including the CEO. They take the time to answer questions and offer guidance. Coming from an academic background into a completely new environment and I’ve really appreciated the patience and understanding from my colleagues as I tackle this brand new adventure. It’s a welcoming, collaborative place where you feel valued, and I’m grateful to be part of the team.

Cons

Things move quickly, which can be challenging at first, but it keeps the work engaging and creates lots of opportunities to learn and grow.

Pros

Guaranteed hours. Friendly co-workers. Pay is decent if you know you're worth.

Cons

No career support for experienced nurses looking to pivot or transition to a different role. Raises were not given due to Medicaid cuts.
