Pros

Great cafeteria food. Helping kids and their families. Shifts. Starbucks.

Cons

Where do I begin... When I had interviewed with the supervisor, they had explained it much differently than what my typical day would look like and what other job duties I would have to do. The pay was horrendous for the amount of work we had to do and put up with, the manager was never around( I only saw him once and was never formally introduced to him), and the work life balance was poor. The drama between people in my department reminded me of highschool-- grow up!

Pros

The culture here is truly exceptional. From day one, I’ve felt supported, encouraged and set up for success. It’s been a genuine joy coming to work each day. What stands out most is how approachable and invested everyone is at every level, including the CEO. They take the time to answer questions and offer guidance. Coming from an academic background into a completely new environment and I’ve really appreciated the patience and understanding from my colleagues as I tackle this brand new adventure. It’s a welcoming, collaborative place where you feel valued, and I’m grateful to be part of the team.

Cons

Things move quickly, which can be challenging at first, but it keeps the work engaging and creates lots of opportunities to learn and grow.

Pros

Guaranteed hours. Friendly co-workers. Pay is decent if you know you're worth.

Cons

No career support for experienced nurses looking to pivot or transition to a different role. Raises were not given due to Medicaid cuts.
