Pros

Knowing you helped children and families in their time of need is much more rewarding than just helping someone else's profit margin This organization is GROWING - PCH has seen 25% growth for the last 4 years in a row. This is not a "we've always done it that way" hospital - everyone gets a chance to provide ideas about ways things can work better and management listens This is an exciting place to work - the hospital is getting lots of national recognition, it's growing and there are always new clinics getting started.

Cons

Some people want things to stay the way they always were - and this place is growing and changing...some of my friends complain its not like it used to be.

Thanks for your comments. Yes, we are growing and growing brings change. Change is not always easy for some and communication can make it better. It is my hope that we are communicating as much as possible. If not, let us know!!

Pros

The culture here is truly exceptional. From day one, I’ve felt supported, encouraged and set up for success. It’s been a genuine joy coming to work each day. What stands out most is how approachable and invested everyone is at every level, including the CEO. They take the time to answer questions and offer guidance. Coming from an academic background into a completely new environment and I’ve really appreciated the patience and understanding from my colleagues as I tackle this brand new adventure. It’s a welcoming, collaborative place where you feel valued, and I’m grateful to be part of the team.

Cons

Things move quickly, which can be challenging at first, but it keeps the work engaging and creates lots of opportunities to learn and grow.

Pros

Guaranteed hours. Friendly co-workers. Pay is decent if you know you're worth.

Cons

No career support for experienced nurses looking to pivot or transition to a different role. Raises were not given due to Medicaid cuts.
