Pros

The work Environment is great. Cafeteria is amazing. Co-Workers are super smart. The hospital mission is easy to get behind. The leadership is accountable. The pay is competitive

Cons

Your budgeting process and approval process can be a challenge if your purchases are not directly related to the care of patients. (e.g. IT Stuff)

Thanks for your comments. Yes, it's true... Budget approval for requests that are not directly related to the healing of the children do seem to require a higher level of scrutiny, however, I can understand the point. That's what we are here for, right? I'm glad you are enjoying your work and the company.

Pros

The culture here is truly exceptional. From day one, I’ve felt supported, encouraged and set up for success. It’s been a genuine joy coming to work each day. What stands out most is how approachable and invested everyone is at every level, including the CEO. They take the time to answer questions and offer guidance. Coming from an academic background into a completely new environment and I’ve really appreciated the patience and understanding from my colleagues as I tackle this brand new adventure. It’s a welcoming, collaborative place where you feel valued, and I’m grateful to be part of the team.

Cons

Things move quickly, which can be challenging at first, but it keeps the work engaging and creates lots of opportunities to learn and grow.

Guaranteed hours. Friendly co-workers. Pay is decent if you know you're worth.

Cons

No career support for experienced nurses looking to pivot or transition to a different role. Raises were not given due to Medicaid cuts.
