Pros

Working with great families, children, and for a WONDERFUL cause. When I first started to work for Phoenix children's I felt honored to work long side great people and a help everyone attitude.

Cons

BAD Managers in the administrative department. I went to my Patient Access Manager after seeing HIPPA violations and having to work 12 hour shifts with no break. lunch, or any food during the entire day. Only to told I was a "Trouble maker" and dismissed.

Pros

The culture here is truly exceptional. From day one, I’ve felt supported, encouraged and set up for success. It’s been a genuine joy coming to work each day. What stands out most is how approachable and invested everyone is at every level, including the CEO. They take the time to answer questions and offer guidance. Coming from an academic background into a completely new environment and I’ve really appreciated the patience and understanding from my colleagues as I tackle this brand new adventure. It’s a welcoming, collaborative place where you feel valued, and I’m grateful to be part of the team.

Cons

Things move quickly, which can be challenging at first, but it keeps the work engaging and creates lots of opportunities to learn and grow.

Cons

No career support for experienced nurses looking to pivot or transition to a different role. Raises were not given due to Medicaid cuts.
