Pros

Really friendly coworkers. Decent pay, closed at 8. not really much else that is good.

Cons

Other people ask for more hours so they took mine. Went from 21 hours a week to 14 or 13. My hours are just getting smaller and smaller every week. Another think is they hired me to be a stocker but are trying to make me be on a register because they dont have enough people working them in the afternoons. Maybe if they hired people for registers that would help.

Pros

Will work with your availability.

Cons

Does not pay any more than $8 an hour (will be $7.38 an hour after social security & Medicare taxes and they don’t do raises). Rude customers. Two (sometimes three) carts full of groceries on food stamp days. Almost no maintenance done to the store (still have outdated registers running the point of sale version of Windows 7). Toilet paper dispensers in the bathrooms are broken and haven’t been replaced in over two months. Training is almost nonexistent. The cashiers actually got more training than I did. Does not do any employee, veterans, or senior citizen discounts. Food is too expensive so I’m not able to afford to shop there. I have to shop elsewhere (Food Lion & Dollar General) just to be able to afford to eat.
