Working alone. You are basically your own boss. Remote monitoring and management makes life easy.
Cons
*Feedback is never appreciated. You don't matter. You're just an employee #. *Equipment doesn't get fixed until it has a catastrophic failure. * Sites are extremely filthy because there's no access to a steam cleaner or even running water at some sites. * 3 man rotation in the same pickup truck. If one guy doesn't care, the other two guys have to deal with a filthy, unsanitary work space. * ZERO COMMUNICATION. We were switched from an hourly based pay to a salary based pay without warning and without signing a contract (it came weeks later). * Launder your own uniforms. No laundry service. * Management honors the buddy system. Certain people are never held accountable for their actions. * GPS on pickup trucks. They know where you are and what you're doing at all times. * Salary is "EXEMPT" based. No overtime or holiday pay is given.
