Pros

Having been at Piper for just under five years, it would be hard to see myself working anywhere else. From top to bottom (CEO, President, VP's and Directors), the support network to further individual success is prominent. We have the opportunity to be our own professionals without micromanagement. With that comes the flexibility to work remote as needed and still manage success. There are opportunities for professional growth in the format of trainings via third party and internal, and promotional opportunities as we continue to grow. If you're looking for a place to call a forever home and grow your professional success, Piper is THE place to do it.

Cons

As far as I'm concerned, there are no cons associated with working at Piper. You're provided all of the tools needed to build your own success. That does come with one piece of advice--if you're not motivated to build your own brand and work hard, it may not be the place for you.

Pros

• Great peers who make the workday enjoyable • Leadership has been investing in change, including a new CEO bringing fresh direction • High performers are given flexibility and trust • Exposure to federal contracting and IT staffing, which builds unique industry knowledge • Opportunity to make strong money if you’re willing to grind Additional Context for Job Seekers A lot of negative reviews you’ll see here are from consultants or project-side employees, and those experiences don’t always reflect what it’s like to be in sales or recruiting. If you’re interviewing for an Associate Account Manager, Account Manager, or Recruiting role, read those reviews with caution. This is sales. It’s hard, it’s metrics-driven, and it’s not for everyone. But if you’re motivated, competitive, and want to learn how staffing works, you can do well here.

Cons

• Like most sales orgs, if you’re not producing you’ll feel the pressure • Constant monitoring of numbers can be draining • Staffing is a tough industry, and AI is making it even tougher. Not every hiring manager values what you bring • Frequent change in direction creates uncertainty at times
