      -Good place to start your career as the company offers support in earning credentials and teaching basics of the business -Generally good work life balance for finance -Friendly people

      Cons

      -Poor leadership; lack of any clear vision or strategy -No opportunity for career development, especially if not at HQ -Below market comp -No longer as reputable as it was a few years ago -Poor interoffice communication -Few resources -Not a team environment

      Pros

      It's nearly impossible to get fired. After many years, the IT department has hired a diverse team. Coworkers were intelligent and ethical.

      Cons

      Unusual that, until after Covid, the IT department was about 95% Caucasian, but now the diversity seems to be due to the ability to lower salaries, and worsen work/life balance. Management will only promote yes-people, or hire from the outside. It's akin to working in IT in 1990s, there is little process or structure. Laptops weren't given to IT until after Covid (yes you read that right), and when they were handed out, they were the used laptops from revenue generating departments that had been upgraded. It was a very chaotic environment.
