Pros

*Friendly co-workers *Decent compensation package *Good work-life balance

Cons

*Culture problems seem prevalent throughout company--specifically the lack of accountability for actions taken (including senior management). This has been an employee concern for several years. *Employee morale suffers due to consistent layoffs--management appears to think this is the solution to all issues. *Senior management is very "clique-ish"--either you're part of the clique or your career suffers.

Pros

It's nearly impossible to get fired. After many years, the IT department has hired a diverse team. Coworkers were intelligent and ethical.

Cons

Unusual that, until after Covid, the IT department was about 95% Caucasian, but now the diversity seems to be due to the ability to lower salaries, and worsen work/life balance. Management will only promote yes-people, or hire from the outside. It's akin to working in IT in 1990s, there is little process or structure. Laptops weren't given to IT until after Covid (yes you read that right), and when they were handed out, they were the used laptops from revenue generating departments that had been upgraded. It was a very chaotic environment.
