Pros

This pizza hut specifically has really friendly management and employees. We are like a family and work great as a team. Managers won't yell at you and are understanding. Also, the employee discount is good. Plus, they are flexible with scheduling. If you only want to work two nights a week, that is okay. And they don't mind if you need to take some time off.

Cons

Some nights are insanely busy, and customers get angry if they have to wait half an hour for their order. Other nights are dead and you'll leave with $10 in tips. It would be nice if we were paid more than $2.13 an hour. The best are the customers who ring up a $50 tab and then leave you no tip at all. On a busy night, you can get anywhere from 1 to 4 of these tables. Also expect to get tips ranging from 5 to 10%, because people think Pizza Hut isn't a "real restaurant." About half of your tables will tip you properly. Answering the phones has its own frustrations. About half of the people who call don't know what they want to order, and you can be stuck on the phone for a good 5 or 10 minutes while they decide. Meanwhile, customers you are serving at your tables ran out of their drinks, but you can't get to them because you're stuck on the phone!

Pros

Tips next morning if not cash, super flexible schedule for school, opportunity for advancement (sometimes somewhat slow), and plenty of down time at times for homework or just hanging out.

Cons

Around 70 miles a day. Somewhat seasonal money, sometimes the company is forced to throw a warm body into shift lead positions, but thats most fast food.
