Pros

Great software and services, some positions allow for work from home, flexibility with schedules. It seems like other departments have a positive culture.

Cons

The Implementation department can’t support the volume of clients coming in. The workload is beyond absurd with no incentive or overtime paid, little to no support or help, and virtually no training. The department is in disarray with employees quitting left and right, most of which barely stayed for a year. It doesn’t matter how many times you contact management for help, they don’t have time to respond until it becomes an escalation. They just keep assigning new clients because their hands are tied. I’m sure someone from HR will see this and respond to this in a similar manner to the other negative reviews on here. I hope they can fix things because it would be a great place to work if it was a functioning department with proper training and resources (especially for 4th quarter) but until then, steer clear of working for Implementation!

Thank you for your review and feedback. I am sorry your PlanSource experience was different. We value our employees above all else and always strive to cultivate a positive, nurturing work environment. It’s no excuse, but just to put it in context: our business is cyclical and Q4 is the busiest time of the year, especially for our implementation team. That is the nature of the industry we serve. We are very proud of our implementation team as they onboard new clients and allow them to have a successful open enrollment. Work load during this time is heavy and the team goes above and beyond to make sure our clients have a best-in-class experience. During these busy times, PlanSource puts together a number of initiatives to help employees with their workload – increased hiring, simplified processes based on prior year’s experiences, in-office massages, yoga, fun team activities and other health breaks – to stay positive. It is a process that we continually try to improve, and feedback such as yours is incredibly valuable in our efforts. We will put it to good use. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors and appreciate your time to leave us feedback.

Exciting company culture and fast paced. Management wants their employees to succeed and thrive.

Cons

Some leadership changes towards the end of my work there, but it seems like that has been smoothed out.

Pros

Remote or Hybrid work schedule, if you live outside of the city limits. Unlimited PTO policy, but is PTO ever unlimited.

Cons

There is not much room for advancement, if you’re not connected. Most of middle management and above are not POC. All the strong POC leaders were here today, gone the next day! The staff is overworked and underpaid. Only way to receive a higher salary is to resign and reapply. I survived a few CEOs, and once this last one came in all the tenured staff were being let go. Normal, if a new Executive comes in but there people were 15+ years in. This new PlanSource does not seem as if it cares much for their employees. Most of the workload is being outsourced to India. I’ve seen good, hardworking dedicate people get axed during my time! Not sure they’re invested in retaining good talent! Definitely a swim or sink culture, You will not get much help with learning the Benefits Admin system. It’s sort of a self-guided dive in approach.
