Pros

A good product and support from the Customer Success team

Cons

In the last few months the atmosphere has really changed (not Cov19 related) and now all the good people are leaving or are trying to. New CRO has a real lack of likability/respect and his decisions have been poor. He should of stayed in opps and it feels like we have sold our soul to the devil!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. At Planday we are are always interested in how our team members are reacting to changes in team, strategy and direction. I am naturally concerned that some of the changes we have recently implemented have made this impression on you. We are hugely aware that any change can be difficult and cause concern for some employees, while others will welcome it. This is a part of managing our joint journey as a growth company and we are absolutely committed to aiding everybody to adjust to change positively and effectively. A core part of our culture at Planday is our ability to tackle difficult situations together. We always welcome the opportunity to discuss any concerns so we can make changes as smooth as possible and move forward on our journey together. CEO - Christian Brondum

Pros

Most colleagues are friendly, some people are amazing, but most of them left to pursue better opportunities. Quite good with social events and coming up with different activities. Lunch is good. Work/life balance is ok.

Cons

In this organization, only the sales team gets praised and rewarded. Mostly, other people are underpaid, not recognized, and barely get salary increases or other benefits. Some employees, with extremely challenging jobs, long working hours, and multiple years of seniority, have insanely low pay. There are absolutely no growth opportunities. No career progression opportunities and no budget to take any courses to get certified. The management says that they are open for change and more effective processes, but when it is time to implement a new process, they start to come up with reasons why it is not a good time to do it and that we should not take away the freedom to let employees do tasks in their own, unstructured way. The workplace advertises a hybrid culture, but the department executive does not believe that any work gets done when working from home. He was always sitting by the door to look at what time people come to work and leave. Only the ones being the first ones in and last ones out are “productive”. Once, I had to defend myself to be allowed to go to the GP in the middle of the day to get antibiotics for a bacterial infection, and got questioned by the said executive whether visiting the GP "is really necessary". I am so blessed that I got out of this place.

Hello there, Thank you for sharing your candid feedback — we genuinely appreciate it, even when it's difficult to read. We are really sorry to hear that your experience left you feeling unrecognised and that the day-to-day environment felt restrictive. This is not reflective of the culture we have built at Planday, and it is not the experience we want anyone to have. We do have growth opportunities and a learning budget in place, and we are sorry these did not feel accessible or visible to you during your time with us. We are committed to continuous improvement and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your specific experience, so we can investigate and address it directly. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at alyssa.nenstiel@planday.com. Best wishes, Alyssa Nenstiel People Experience Partner at Planday
