Pros
- Amazing colleagues overall - Social atmosphere in the two main offices (Copenhagen & London) - Cool new office spaces - Relatively flat hierarchy with quite a lot of room for ideas and propositions - Opportunity to work with inspiring passionate people who really love what they're doing - Opportunity to travel to the various offices quite often - Good work/life balance overall
Cons
- The culture, which was one of Planday's best assets, has recently become quite bad. The new CRO is placing all of his ex co-workers in strategic positions and bringing a toxic "US corporate broey" culture to the company which has a real impact on the atmosphere in the offices. A few long time valued employees have left recently as a result - The company's strategy keeps changing and is quite unclear, leading to misunderstandings, weariness, lack of motivation and trust from the employees - Management is inexistent in some departments, you rarely get the opportunity to learn from someone above you, and if something is wrong you will most likely know it when they fire you - They've let go of loads of competent people in various departments in the past 3 months with very little to no transparency, and most of these people were never given the chance to improve, or even given an honest explanation - The CEO is a nice and quite transparent guy, but he has a tendency to put of all his trust in one or two C-level individuals without questioning the impact of their decisions/behaviors on the employees, which contributes to the recent toxic culture - The product has become better in the past few months, but it's still miles away from the competition
