Pros

The culture at Planet DDS cannot be beat. When it comes to setting the example, it starts at the top with the CEO and ELT. If you are looking for a place where you can be recognized and rewarded for working hard collaboratively and independently, this is the place for you. If you are looking to find a job where you can draw a paycheck while disappearing in a corner, this is not the place for you. At PDDS, they value, praise and reward team players, empathy, accountability, trust and ambition. Having worked for two of the largest organizations in the industry, this is by far the happiest and most successful time of my career.

Cons

I'm having a hard time with this one. I work with a great group of people working towards the same goal. Any time large groups of people come together, someone somewhere will find a way to do something that irritates you. That's not an isolated PDDS problem though. And, those issues are minor and easily resolved. I guess this could be a con, but your success is dependent on you. PDDS is a growth company. If you are hired, then your skills are needed, or wanted, or both. The expectations are reasonable but high.

Pros

Planet DDS is full of kind, talented, and motivated people who genuinely care about their work and about each other. Leadership is approachable and open to feedback. When people share ideas, you actually see them put into action, which says a lot about the culture. The company has grown in such a positive direction, with more focus on collaboration, recognition, and creating an environment where people feel supported and valued. It’s a place that trusts you to do great work, gives you the flexibility to make it happen, and lets you show up as your authentic self every day.

Cons

Like any company that’s growing fast, there are still a few areas catching up to the pace of expansion. Sometimes information lives in pockets, and communication between departments could be smoother. A bit more alignment and visibility would make things flow even better. The good thing is, leadership seems genuinely aware of this and is taking real steps to strengthen cross-team collaboration, which is great to see.

Pros

You have the ability to work from home if you live further away from one of the hubs.

Cons

Management closely monitors employees' daily activities to the point that it feels like every moment of your workday is being tracked, creating an environment that lacks trust and autonomy. Employees are frequently assigned additional roles and responsibilities without corresponding increases in pay or benefits. Those who express concerns or push back against these expectations often feel singled out, as management appears to make examples of employees who do not readily comply.
