I joined Planful during a very different chapter of the company. Unfortunately, over the past year, the organization has undergone repeated layoffs that have stripped teams down to the bare minimum. Critical functions are operating without adequate support, resources, or realistic expectations.
The leadership transition has fundamentally changed the company — and not for the better. Long-tenured, top-performing employees have been let go with little explanation. Institutional knowledge has been erased. What was once a strong culture centered around collaboration and commitment has been reduced to cost-cutting and short-term optics.
Executive leadership provides minimal transparency. Company-wide meetings are rare. Major decisions are not addressed directly. There is a clear disconnect between the executive team and the broader organization. Morale has declined significantly.
This is no longer the company it once was. At this time, I would not recommend joining. Even highly committed, high-performing employees have not been insulated from instability. If you are considering an offer, ask around, speak to current and past employees, and do your due diligence before making a decision.
