Pros
I would say that the best thing about Plasco would be the working hours, M-F, 8:45-5:30, holidays are paid. My direct supervisor was great, most of the people are nice to work with, never had an issue with upper management but they are very FLAKY!!
Cons
Not going to bash the company, I doubt there are any that are perfect. Here we go, although there was one direct supervisor he was far too busy so he delegated responsibility to someone who really has no authority but with seniority she feels that she can treat you in any way she sees fit, public humiliation and reprimand of your mistakes is quite frequent, everyone knows your business and when you made a mistake (quite the morale builder) the software used is VERY DATED, GLITCHY, FAULTY, UNRELIABLE and any mistakes come back to the operator. Their entire operation is quite dated and the margin for error is immense. The redundancy between departments is absurd. They tend to hire from temp agencies so that they don't have to pay benefits right away. I had some ethical issues with some the "going ons"Although I was told I'd be coming back when the "budget" allows I have no intentions of returning to that place as an employee, I wake up everyday extra glad to not have to return to Plasco, the sense of relief on my last day had me doing cartwheels.
