Pros
The people are awesome! I enjoyed each person I worked with. The raffles are a nice perk, but everything is taxed on. The occasional catered lunch is nice, wish it was more often. The insurance offered was top notch. The quarterly profit sharing was a big initial selling point, but the payout has gone down each quarter since I've started. It should not be used as part of the onboard salary negotiation, it should be as an additional bonus on top of the salary.
Cons
No steady leadership, had 4 managers in less than 2 years.. And only 1 was good. There is a LOT of micromanagement, no trust in middle management, and top-down decision making. Subject matter experts are not consulted with but rather told what to do. It's incredibly discouraging. Lots of talk of "we need to empower others to make decision" but no follow through. Employees are expected to work at all hours of the day (5am to 11pm) and respond to texts/calls immediately regardless of the time or if you're on PTO. Although I feel like I was paid fairly, there's a LOT of people who are severely underpaid for the multiple jobs they are doing. Offer more opportunities/days to work remote, every other company is.
