Pros

Used to be great but now...

Cons

I was at Pluralsight for over two years consistently exceeding yearly quota. Most companies at the 6 month mark or at least once a year provide the opportunity based on performance to receive an increase in pay. Here when I brought up the discussion of a raise it felt like I was being put on the naughty list. It was turned on me like I was a bad person and not satisfied with what was provided. Very weird and awkward especially after over performing the entire time I was employed at Pluralsight. New hires would be brought on at much higher pay. I’m pretty sure it cost the business more money in the long run to replace me instead of providing based upon performance a small raise each year. You have to spend 3 months hiring a replacement, 3-6months training them on top of the fact they you are paying them significantly more than me even if I received a raise.

Pluralsight Response

You’re right - we’ve had great talent that has helped us get to where we are now. And we’re committed to retaining the amazing people who are performing in both results and in commitment to the values, as it aligns with our total rewards principles. Additionally, we realize we have work to do to support the Sales team and the structure - it’s something we’ve made a top priority. -Anita
