Pros

Pays well, good benefits, free snacks. Honestly, still a good job.

Cons

Although a good job, it’s not what it used to be, and isn’t on par with the more exciting local tech companies any more. Sadly, I have two reviews on here. The previous one, from a few years ago, I talked about this company being amazing- the best I could ever hope for! But since then, many things have slowly evolved for the worse. The trend, further, is toward the culture, benefits, and overall mood continuing to go slowly downhill. Culture in Marketing is really stale now, from what I experienced. There are still some great people, but leadership’s style stifles personality and creativity. Teams used to be full of strong camaraderie, and were working with passion and that I no longer saw much of in my final year or so. The lean seems to be toward more serious, corporate-minded workers, toward being at your desk, and toward dashboards and OKRs that are meant to somehow perfectly reflect employee effectiveness. But from what I’ve seen, things have slowed down. People don’t seem to care as much any more, because it’s just a job, measured on a spreadsheet. The office is usually weirdly silent. Really sad to see, after what the culture once was. I hope it can turn around some day!

Thanks so much for sharing this. As our business has grown and evolved, so has our culture. This happens and people experience this differently, however, we remain committed to a workplace where we embrace our differences and our leaders create meaningful opportunities for everyone to contribute to our mission. I appreciate hearing about your experience, which is counter to our goals of doing really amazing work together and remaining a great place to work. Best of luck for whatever’s next for you. - Anita
