Pros

Excellent engineering principles/guidelines, lots of autonomy for teams, leadership really believes in the product, all employees are valued and have a voice, leadership is willing to address and try to change systemic issues

Cons

There is very little diversity in the leadership even though it is a stated goal, a lot of voices can make it difficult to come to consensus, hierarchy can be unclear at times

Thanks for leaving this review and agree! We’re working hard on our processes and systems to solve for these pieces. And I’m glad to hear that you see leadership is willing to address and try to change systemic issues - we acknowledge it and are actively working on it! Thank you! - Anita

Pros

Had some truly wonderful colleagues! Work life balance was also generally solid.

Cons

I worked at Pluralsight for 4 years. It is a terribly run company that continuously got worse. I witnessed probably 3 rounds of layoffs a year every single year. Countless management changes. Management brings in their buddies from previous jobs who have no interest in learning how things are done here. They are cliquey and toxic with each other. They undervalued myself and my colleagues who were actually doing really important work and rewarded the useless ones. Terrible place for career growth and pay was slightly below industry standard. Every few months they completely switch business directions. Should be 1 star but I gave one extra for my favorite colleagues.
