Pros

The Pluralsight product is of value and actually helpful. The new building is stunning and the cafeteria options are nice. The gym is state of the art. The majority of employees and staff are friendly and seem happy to be working there. Welcoming work culture. The office is incredibly easy to find right off the exit from the freeway.

Cons

Onboarding for new employees was chaotic and a complete mess. It's odd that a company that provides learning software and courses for personal/professional development have no comprehensive learning paths for it's new employees. Instead, you will learn plenty about nothing that has to do for your role you were hired for. Information dumping via web videos doesn't help anyone learn effectively and ultimately wastes everybody's time. It's overwhelming and completely unnecessary. The open office floorplan is awful and offers zero privacy which has impact on productivity and focus. You can hear people walking (especially high heels) echo throughout the entire building. You can hear everyone's conversation and it makes sales and important phone/web conversations difficult. All for the sake of "building a better work culture". Working from home will prove, once again, to be advantageous, less stressful and productive for anyone working in sales. Hands down. Plenty of unnecessary distractions from BDR management. They will have meetings with the team that amount to nothing every single day and you'll begin to feel like Bill Murray in "Groundhog Day". There is such thing as toxic positivity where they believe they are being motivational, innovative and encouraging. This leaves you feeling drained, exhausted and unable to get back into your productive frame of mind. You'll be told to "make it personal and strategic" and "not to spam" in your outreach campaigns to prospects but be held accountable to an arbitrary call and email quota daily. Managers who value spam numbers over outcome are not leaders by any means and are indeed micromanagers. When you try and communicate with your BDR manager, they will "hear" you but not actually listen to what you are saying. You'll receive the same canned responses like a well rehearsed play. The motto might as well be "we've tried nothing and we are all out of ideas" for this BDR management team.
