Pros

Great people, engineering is technology focused with good practices.

Cons

Lots of negative changes introduced since the Vista acquisition. People yearn for the days of the former Pluralsight. Some of the changes are just due to the nature of becoming a much larger company, but many are cultural/policy/process/benefits changes introduced due to the Vista ownership.

Pros

Overall, people were fun but not many other positives in the old culture.

Cons

People thought the culture was an amazing thing but in reality, it was more a "fun" culture than an accountable and business centric culture under prior leadership. The company remained in start-up thinking for too long and not long-term business. If the old leadership is reviewed, we can see the stock price issue, layoffs at a time when the leaders were well compensated, poorly managed PE, but former employees will say the culture was fine. It was a fun business but not a business where accountability was the strongest thing.
