Pros
Pluralsight is well-known within the tech industry, and overall it's a positive reputation. It's very easy to support the mission and product.
Cons
I would not consider PS to be a progressive tech company. Sure, it can absolutely be a great stepping stone for people trying to break into the industry. However there are plenty of other tech companies that are more worth your time. Working here was the first time I felt micromanaged in my whole career. We were constantly expected to be on Zoom meetings, not for anything work related, but more so that managers could ensure employees are at their computer. Bonding with remote coworkers is crucial, but is it necessary to play get-to-know-you games multiple times a week? Ever since the Vista and ACG acquisitions, it has been a dumpster fire. Attrition is through the roof, morale is low, and this is not sustainable. Tech companies are a dime a dozen -- find one that actually trusts employees, fosters a remote first environment, has strong leadership teams, and values feedback.
