Pros

There are some great things about Pluralsight. They live by their values and love collaboration. They also have great mindsets when it comes to flexibility in how you work and the benefits are pretty good as well.

Cons

- The company is facing alot of issues with turn over. For the most part there is no growth.. just trying to fill the holes left by people leaving in large masses. - System for salaries is not up to par with other top technology companies - This will obviously depend on the team but they try too hard to include people in things such as constant zoom meetings, team building activities etc. It is fine sometimes, but can easily become overbearing. - You will also find teams where leaders have their clear favorites and everyone else gets left behind or targeted with little support or help. - It would also be helpful if Aaron (CEO) would take time to meet with people who work in the offices instead of doing things like promoting his $300 custom Nike Pluralsight shoes. Never saw him once in person interacting with employees while working there.

Thank you for sharing your review. We have a values-driven culture and I’m glad you felt that during your time here. I’m also glad to hear that you found the benefits and flexibility to be great. A large portion of our open job requisitions are actually for new roles at Pluralsight so there certainly are opportunities for growth across the business. Our salaries are a key part of our total rewards and the team here is always monitoring and evaluating the competitiveness of our offerings. To your point on Zoom meetings and team building, as a globally-distributed and majority remote/hybrid workforce, connectivity and community are large priorities for us. I would assume these meetings were set with the best intentions, however, our leaders are encouraged to be receptive to feedback and we always encourage team members to voice their opinions on anything that can improve our collective experience. In regards to some of the leaders you encountered playing favorites, we strive to create an equitable workplace and favoritism is counter to our policies. Please reach out if you would like to discuss further. I wish you all the best on your next endeavor - Will
