Pros

Company wide shut down weeks

Cons

Messed up operation, extremely ineffective Workflows, Getting a deal done is literally painful due to the internal loops you need to jump through from quoting to POC’s through contracts etc Sales management was put on the chopping board because the company did not keep up with what the market needs - sales teams gutted, people who actually cared and gave a s***t Metrics are not aligned, don’t reward the right behaviour, so teams and individuals start screwing each other over just to look good Surface level, highly political management won’t change those results, but hard work, better alignment and comradeship will - when everything points to serve the customer better.

Pros

Overall, people were fun but not many other positives in the old culture.

Cons

People thought the culture was an amazing thing but in reality, it was more a "fun" culture than an accountable and business centric culture under prior leadership. The company remained in start-up thinking for too long and not long-term business. If the old leadership is reviewed, we can see the stock price issue, layoffs at a time when the leaders were well compensated, poorly managed PE, but former employees will say the culture was fine. It was a fun business but not a business where accountability was the strongest thing.
