Competing priorities and lack of innovation - Customer Success Manager (CSM) Pluralsight Employee Review

Pros

The people are genuinely kind, caring and collaborate well from remotely. Autonomy is highly valued.

Cons

Constant leadership change and competition for resources; competing priorities across functions make cross-functional collaboration and innovation impossible; the product is not built with the buyer/customer in mind -- few in Product or Marketing seem to understand who our customer is. Leadership ignores foundational problems, pushes for fast results and then gets upset with the individual contributors when it doesn't work.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I acknowledge that Pluralsight has been changing and evolving over the last several months. This change can be disruptive to our work and I know that we need to realign on our priorities and refocus on our mission. The ELT team is committed to this and understands it’s crucial to our success moving forward. We are always open to ideas on how to improve; please don’t hesitate to reach out to your org leader or to myself. -Will
