Pros

Didn't have to work a lot because management couldn't make decisions. Easy to take PTO.

Cons

Management was so tight around the creative time that co-workers were encouraged to be uncollaborative, especially for larger projects. Many things were designed only with management's feedback and other designers were not consulted. Upper management talks a lot about a vision for the company, but only talks in generalities. They don't make time for larger initiatives and they slow everything down by being involved in every little decision because they don't seem to trust. They rule the company by their opinions rather than talking and consulting with the experts around them. Marketing initiatives were shut down because management wanted to evaluate our strategy. After 3 months of not running promotions, they panicked and made rushed decisions. Many good people were let go to make room for their friends from previous companies, which just led to homogenous thinking and an echo chamber. We ran tests over and over, which were either stopped before reaching statistical significance or the results were ignored in favor of opinions. Finally, this used to be a solid, amazing company that was fun to work at. But, after the last few layoffs and larger business decisions, it feels like they are just winding down the company.
