Work from home still a solid option Health insurance and 401K Open time off = mixed bag, at discretion of manager Career Opportunities if you show management you're willing to work a nonstop 65+ hour workweek
Cons
ZERO work life balance during merger ( Harvard Pilgrim / Tufts Health Plan ) Merger work ongoing and many issues integrating systems and depts Open Time off = Nope. Unable to take vacations per too much workload; no cash out on vacation time if you leave - $0 if you quit or get laid off. Sweatshop in Some Depts right now. ( and this, coming from a Hard Worker!)
