Pros

As a growing company Pomeroy offers lots of opportunities to potential employees. It maintains the flexibility to deliver customized solutions to its clients.

Cons

As a growing company, it still has a small company mentality. Many of the HR policies, inter company operating agreements (OLAs) do not yet exist. This can be a challenge for someone coming from a larger company expecting to have these standards in place.

Pros

Pomeroy has proven a place to develop a career for those who are ambitious, value autonomy, and take initiative to make a difference.

Cons

Pomeroy is a fast paced environment and moves quickly - some may find this decisiveness and desire for change not for them.

Pros

The people are truly the best part of working at Pomeroy. I had the opportunity to work with some amazing coworkers and leaders who genuinely care about one another. The work-life balance is also a real positive, especially compared to many companies in the industry. It’s also telling that many employees have long tenure, and it’s not uncommon to see people leave and eventually come back, which says a lot about the culture and the relationships people build there.

Cons

One of the biggest frustrations is that there have been a lot of promises made over the years that never seem to materialize. A 401(k) company match has been discussed for well over four years, but it still hasn’t been implemented. Leadership has also communicated plans for company-wide merit increases, yet there hasn’t been an across-the-board increase since 2023.
