Pros
Helpful and friendly atmosphere. There was great camaraderie among the team at my location, as well as many others who worked remotely, and at the home office for the most part. If you are a recent college grad, Pomeroy is a great place to get your feet wet and gain some real world hands on experience. Where the medical/dental/401k benefits lack they do try to make up for it with flexible schedules and a generous time off/ policy, as well as a casual dress code.
Cons
- Lack of direction from management (in my department anyway). - Manager was located offsite at home office and often hard to get a hold of at times. - No real opportunity for career growth or moving up in the company - Pay is low, and pay increases are virtually non existent - Unless you are an engineer or technician there is no real kind of professional development available to employees in back office positions.
