Co workers and my direct supervisor were great to work for.
Cons
Management doesn't live by the word of their contract. We were supposed to get 30 days notice upon being laid off due to the data center being shut down, but we only received 10 days notice.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review and share your perspective with us. I am sorry to hear that your employment ended with short notice. In all honesty, often timelines are driven by the client...not determined by Pomeroy. I completely agree that both individuals and companies should live up to the terms of the contracts that they agree to. I am curious about the contract that you are referring to. To my knowledge, Pomeroy does not enter into such contracts with employees. However, if you are able to share the contract with me, I would be happy to pursue the terms of the agreement. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at joann.geiman@pomeroy.com
Pomeroy has proven a place to develop a career for those who are ambitious, value autonomy, and take initiative to make a difference.
Cons
Pomeroy is a fast paced environment and moves quickly - some may find this decisiveness and desire for change not for them.

Cons
pay is far below the national average. the company does not do raises for merit or cost of living. employees are constantly pressured to do things that are not their job and take on extra work without extra pay. training documents are missing or incomplete at best. management is inconsistent with its adherence to policy and procedure. benefits are the very barest of minimums. there is a high turnover rate because of the lack of support and respect for employees.
