Pros
-You will learn skills to help you advance to better careers. -Great starting point but not somewhere you want to stay for long.
Cons
-Unhelpful, unethical and non-trustworthy HR department(Though this could be said for a lot of the upper management too). It is impossible to get into contact with them and they are always losing documents on a regular basis that are faxed from doctors or other important items. - No work/life balance like they advertise. Most high volume departments to not even really give you much of a break and you are expected to work overtime to me client goals which will always come first. - No care for employees mental or physical health unless you are working in Human Resources. - Really Terrible Health Care and Benefits - Absolutely Terrible Maternity Leave Policy - Rampant Bullying within certain departments from all levels and nothing is done about it. - EXTREMELY POOR COMMUNICATION in all areas. Especially when it comes to fixing problems, health issues, bullying, or making sure important paperwork has gotten to HR. - Very little advancement for good employees who get worked to death with extra assignments trying to prove they deserve the promotion. Promotions are given to those who don't deserve them. - Very young kids are promoted to Manager positions with ego issues who take them out on their employees below them. -You will usually not get the vacation time you ask for, or will be asked to come in on it to meet numbers. -You will also be passive aggressively forced to come in even when you are very sick to work and meet numbers. You are nothing more then a cog in a large machine here and very replaceable. The only thing that matters here is that you meet the contract needs of the client so they don't take their business elsewhere. This is a good place to start but don't stay their long and always be on guard. Keep copies of every interaction on email or chat, keep screenshots and proof because they will losing things and go back on their words.
