Pros

Easy to move to another city since jobs are spread out in multiple states Somewhat flexible schedules

Cons

Good Jobs only at central office in Kentucky. They don't educate employee how company makes money from the service. No Bonuses No 401k martch No Raises, unless you get another position Benefits, health Insurance, need better coverage. They use 'Cost Sharing' method which makes employees be responsible for first $2,500 of costs before plan pays for anything (only 80%) At times it's hard to get a hold of people that are part of supply chain. Some jobs are very isolated from other people Development and growth are absent. Getting everyday supplies like TAPE is a hassle.

Pros

Pomeroy has proven a place to develop a career for those who are ambitious, value autonomy, and take initiative to make a difference.

Cons

Pomeroy is a fast paced environment and moves quickly - some may find this decisiveness and desire for change not for them.

Pros

The people are truly the best part of working at Pomeroy. I had the opportunity to work with some amazing coworkers and leaders who genuinely care about one another. The work-life balance is also a real positive, especially compared to many companies in the industry. It’s also telling that many employees have long tenure, and it’s not uncommon to see people leave and eventually come back, which says a lot about the culture and the relationships people build there.

Cons

One of the biggest frustrations is that there have been a lot of promises made over the years that never seem to materialize. A 401(k) company match has been discussed for well over four years, but it still hasn’t been implemented. Leadership has also communicated plans for company-wide merit increases, yet there hasn’t been an across-the-board increase since 2023.
