Pros

You'll network with a lot of reps from much bigger and better organized Tech companies and make some great connections. A lot of Pomeroy employees use those connections to move on once they see just how dysfunctional this company is.

Cons

Where to begin. First and foremost moral is really really low. More turn over than I've ever scene. Huge egos at the mid tier level of management to the very top (which is where this toxic culture trickles down from I believe, the very top). Calling on new business I've seen some unsavory gray area tactics to the point where some really good prospects abruptly ended all negotiations. This was common. Bottom line it's a churn and burn operation and you'll leave feeling bitter and angry.

Pros

Pomeroy has proven a place to develop a career for those who are ambitious, value autonomy, and take initiative to make a difference.

Cons

Pomeroy is a fast paced environment and moves quickly - some may find this decisiveness and desire for change not for them.

Cons

pay is far below the national average. the company does not do raises for merit or cost of living. employees are constantly pressured to do things that are not their job and take on extra work without extra pay. training documents are missing or incomplete at best. management is inconsistent with its adherence to policy and procedure. benefits are the very barest of minimums. there is a high turnover rate because of the lack of support and respect for employees.
