Pros

There are some great people here, just not on my desk

Cons

Depends on the desk you work on. Where I am, bullying from management is constant and nothing gets done about it. Favoritism is huge here. If you look a certain way, you don't have to work as hard. If you're friends with management and can keep their disgusting secrets, you'll be fine. You can't take issues like harassment or racial discrimination to HR because absolutely nothing is done about it. I've seen several complaints about the same manager made to HR and yet he still has a job. I won't be here to much longer.

The information you provide to EthicsPoint will be sent to us in a format that protects your confidentiality. We take all reports about compliance and ethics matters seriously and will look into each report and follow up when further action is appropriate. From an outside line, you can dial Ethics Point directly. United States 1-855-761-0364 After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions. HR has taken the proper steps and investigated every case of harassment or racial discrimination that has been brought to our attention. Pomeroy is a fast paced environment and moves quickly - some may find this decisiveness and desire for change not for them.

There are no pros to list

Cons

pay is far below the national average. the company does not do raises for merit or cost of living. employees are constantly pressured to do things that are not their job and take on extra work without extra pay. training documents are missing or incomplete at best. management is inconsistent with its adherence to policy and procedure. benefits are the very barest of minimums. there is a high turnover rate because of the lack of support and respect for employees.
