Pros

Instead of raises we get pizza once a month

Cons

Pay cuts during Covid19 along with mandatory overtime and absolutely no protection from the virus. We had to process 20,000 employees to work from home without gloves, disinfectant or any procedures to keep us safe.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. As a Pomeroy employee your health and safety are of utmost importance. Every employee has access to the personal protective equipment (PPE) they need to do their jobs and every day we are shipping kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and thermometers to anyone requesting them. If you or your workgroup needs PPE, contact the COVID-19 Response Team immediately. The decision to reduce compensation was difficult but it was based upon our primary objective to preserve jobs. The alternative would have been even more difficult in terms of broad workforce reductions. It’s our hope the decisions the company is forced to make during this crisis will be temporary. Thanks again for sharing your concerns. We take them seriously and encourage you to speak about them with either your manager or with Human Resources.

Pros

Pomeroy has proven a place to develop a career for those who are ambitious, value autonomy, and take initiative to make a difference.

Cons

Pomeroy is a fast paced environment and moves quickly - some may find this decisiveness and desire for change not for them.

Pros

There are no pros to list

Cons

pay is far below the national average. the company does not do raises for merit or cost of living. employees are constantly pressured to do things that are not their job and take on extra work without extra pay. training documents are missing or incomplete at best. management is inconsistent with its adherence to policy and procedure. benefits are the very barest of minimums. there is a high turnover rate because of the lack of support and respect for employees.
