Pros

- Flexible hours - Staff at ground level reasonably competent - over 2 weeks vacation to start

Cons

- constantly issues on the job you will be entirely on your own with. Expect no supervisor or lead tech to assist. - drive time reimbursement is low considering the amount of extreme mileage your personal vehicle will be accruing. - covid 19 pandemic warranted pay cuts because the company is "in distress." The cuts were 5 percent for grunts under 50k, 10 percent for middle management, and 25 percent "supposedly" for senior execs.

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. Employee health and safety are our most important priorities, especially now during the pandemic. It is vital to you and to your family that you know you have access right now to any personal protective equipment (PPE) you need. Every day we are shipping kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and thermometers. If you have not been contacted and you need PPE, let us know right away. The company decision to reduce employee compensation across the board was extremely difficult. The other alternative however would have been even more difficult in terms of broad workforce reductions. We hope that decision will only be temporary and full pay can be restored in the months ahead when the pandemic retreats. Thank you again for your post. We take your concerns very seriously and encourage you to speak about them with either your manager or with Human Resources.

Pros

Pomeroy has proven a place to develop a career for those who are ambitious, value autonomy, and take initiative to make a difference.

Cons

Pomeroy is a fast paced environment and moves quickly - some may find this decisiveness and desire for change not for them.

Pros

There are no pros to list

Cons

pay is far below the national average. the company does not do raises for merit or cost of living. employees are constantly pressured to do things that are not their job and take on extra work without extra pay. training documents are missing or incomplete at best. management is inconsistent with its adherence to policy and procedure. benefits are the very barest of minimums. there is a high turnover rate because of the lack of support and respect for employees.
