Pros

None, absolutely none whatsoever. Nope, nada, zilch.

Cons

Incredibly disorganized company with shady business practices. They will charge a client for managed services and a separate professional service and then have the managed service engineers perform the professional service during the time that the client is paying for them to be doing the managed service work. This is effectively double-billing and is a terrible thing to do to a customer. Management employs double-standards with just about everything and makes up policies on the fly. And they don't care one bit about professional growth and development for their employees beyond "here, take on more responsibility for the same pay because it will make you look good". Oh, and if you're going to resign, don't even think about trying to be nice and giving any more notice than the standard two weeks. I made that mistake and they repaid my courtesy by preventing me from using my remaining vacation and not compensating me for it. HR will not support you on that matter.

Pros

Pomeroy has proven a place to develop a career for those who are ambitious, value autonomy, and take initiative to make a difference.

Cons

Pomeroy is a fast paced environment and moves quickly - some may find this decisiveness and desire for change not for them.

Pros

There are no pros to list

Cons

pay is far below the national average. the company does not do raises for merit or cost of living. employees are constantly pressured to do things that are not their job and take on extra work without extra pay. training documents are missing or incomplete at best. management is inconsistent with its adherence to policy and procedure. benefits are the very barest of minimums. there is a high turnover rate because of the lack of support and respect for employees.
