Pros

Populus Group is a family. I truly feel like my direct leadership cares about me and my future. There is plenty of opportunities to learn and support projects across the ecosystem that may or may not directly relate to your specific role. Work-life balance is supported. As long as you work closely with your manager you are able to take care of the "team 1" items that come up. Honestly, this is what keeps me at Populus Group.

Cons

At times the upper management/leadership of Populus Group doesn't take the time to really slow down and hear issues. They often ask and ask for more, but don't give the proper support to the employees to accomplish goals. The leadership often has unrealistic expectations when it comes to projects. Populus Group needs to be willing to make the investment in employees and projects. Too often employees hands are tied. Promotions are afforded, but you have to work extremely hard to prove you're worth or be in the right place at the right time. Many employees with great potential have left because they were left with unfulfilled promises.
