Pros

For a sales environment, it seems to be quite laid back as you have no kpi's to work towards! So you only have to work toward hitting your monthly target (which is based on what is invoiced out that month, not cash taken. ) The hours are also quite nice as there are no lates or working Boxing Day. Also you are allowed to have bank holidays off which is nice as in most sales roles you have to be in no matter what.

Cons

Your yearly target increases each year, meaning your commission WILL take a hit the longer you work for the company, which means there is a very high turn over of staff. There is NO PROGRESSION. The training you will receive is not what you would expect. Generally dumped at a desk and told "work your way through the system." This can be completely overwhelming if you have never used the system before or have an understanding of bathrooms, as there is no formal beginners training to explain everything in depth. Which is definitely required. They also use Spanish words on the system, so parts can be very difficult for the customer to understand. You will have one hour in maybe 3 months with one of the reps from Spain, which is also very difficult due to the language barrier, but as you can imagine one hour training is not enough. You will be faced with self righteous customers who believe you should give them everything for nothing. Who will request discount because they have bought it at that cost before and I always get 45% off! And you will have to deal with angry customers, as in every job. The systems are not customer friendly, and can take ages to place an order or refund on goods. Goods take A LONG TIME to come into stock as it has to be shipped from Spain. Huge amounts of delays so can be even longer for the customer. As there is so much to learn, you will make mistakes. These have big consequences on the order if it is incorrect!

Pros

Collaborating with Porcelanosa has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my design career. From the beginning, I was struck by the brand's commitment to innovation, quality, and timeless elegance. As a designer, having access to their extensive product range—especially their porcelain tiles, bathroom collections, and kitchen systems—felt like unlocking a new level of creative potential. What stood out most was the seamless integration of form and function in their materials. Their surfaces are not only visually stunning but also incredibly durable and versatile, which allowed me to push the boundaries of my designs without compromising on practicality. Working closely with the Porcelanosa team, I found their product specialists to be knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about design. They were always ready to collaborate, offer solutions, and provide support, whether it was sourcing a specific material or customizing a product for a particular space.

Cons

Premium Pricing Porcelanosa products are positioned in the luxury segment, which means they come with a higher price tag. For clients with strict budgets, this can limit options or require trade-offs elsewhere in the project. Lead Times and Availability Some products, especially newer or more exclusive lines, may have long lead times or limited availability, particularly if they are sourced from overseas. This can affect project timelines if not managed early in the design process.
