Pros

Benefits were good and affordable.

Cons

Management at all levels in does not support AP level employees adequately. Despite HR hiring processes, nepotism is alive and well (a campus president's partner was hired over more qualified candidates). There are also a lot of interdepartmental power struggles that reduce overall efficiency and often put students in difficult situations.

Pros

The people. PCC hires many wonderful, talented, well-meaning people who really care about their community. Other pros include, flexibility like being able to choose your own schedule, and trust in hired employees to do their work on their terms.

Cons

Major con is how messy the entire college seems to be. Massive lack in any semblance of effective communication. Nobody seems to know whats going on and everyone is almost always on a different page. Company structure is always changing and people are never notified in an organized or timely manner. Everyone seems spread too thin regardless of what position they are in and nobody seems to have the time to get on the same page. Layoffs seem to be commonly caused by lack of planning and communication. Onboarding was practically nonexistent and as a new employee i basically had to figure out everything on my own without any guidance.
