Pros
training is intense and covers a lot. apparently the courses used to be weeks long, but my classroom training was only about 5 days in total. still covered as much as possible, and I learnt a lot which was extremely useful for when I first came onto the counter. pay is great- I'm 25 and having only ever worked in retail or coffee shops before, I was lucky to get the opportunity to get this job. i'm earning over £17k which will go up to 20+ in a couple of months. this enables me to finally start saving money which i've not really been able to do before. management is always willing to help and give you guidance if you're not sure about something. the job is varied and includes tasks from banking, to selling telephony and home insurance, to stock taking, to stock balancing. some of the work is hard but you get used to it and gain useful skills. this is the most responsible job i've had, and I really enjoy it, and the team I work with.
Cons
none that I can think of
