Pros

I have worked at Power Dry for four years now and love it. The culture here is great. We do many activities with just the office staff and with the whole company. I have now worked in almost every position in the office as I have grown here from office assistant, to hiring rep, to account specialist, to dispatching to cover those positions as need be to help fill in when needed. It is very beneficial to be cross trained here to serve the customers in the best possible way. This year I was permanently hired as the full time dispatcher and they even adjusted the position to fit my needs. Not many companies will do that for you. Hours can vary when we get very busy due to the weather, but we are compensated very well for that. The owner is here almost every day of the week and can be talked to at any moment. He is very involved with the day to day here. If you have a problem, they will find a solution that works best for you. The company is flexible and family orientated. If you work hard for them, they will take care of you in any way needed. Overall, awesome place and plan to be here for a long time.

Cons

The crew can have long days if we get busy due to the weather during flooding times. The office has extended hours for that time too but they are based on when you are available.

Pros

Pretty straight forward position and easy to to learn the job; great people(crew) to work with daily

Cons

Not understanding how each project/job affects your pay; not knowing when your day would end; talks of termination weekly during meetings; management cared more about the numbers than the individuals; it seemed like everything you did, you had to CYA on it.
