Pros
Having been at Power for a little over 4 months, there has been a few things that have really helped me adjust to a new company and setting. First of all is how great the people are in our office. It’s incredibly rare to find a workplace where you would happily hang out with every single person outside of work. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, and there is the perfect balance of competitiveness and support. I also feel like the company actually cares about you and your family, your VP’s will check in with you and see how you’re doing, but also ask about your family too. One of the best things we do as an office is have Thursday Throwdowns where we can get together outside of work to unwind, but we’ll also have family events such as going to the zoo so everyone can get involved. It’s allowed us to meet everyone’s families and become friends outside of work. Finally would be the benefits that help you and your family. I am so grateful for reimbursements towards my daughters daycare, as well as the great medical benefits on offer.
Cons
Takes a little time to get adjusted to the schedule, especially as a Remodeling Consultant, but you start to get into the groove of things after a while.
