Pros

--When you join PHRG, you are entering into a family. --My first reaction to PHRG when I went on my interview in March 2011 was… WOW the people here are incredibly nice, they were all wishing me luck on my interview and or having a conversation with me, which calmed me down tremendously. I went into the interview knowing that I wanted to be apart of this company. --Another reason why people should join the Power Family, is because, the upper management are real. They truly want us to love our jobs and to love working with Power. They allow us to receive amazing promotions and incentives such as iPhones, iPads, computers, trips etc. --It’s not all about the incentives though. At Power they do not treat us as if we were just a “number”. Upper Management (Owners-CEOs) are well aware og each employee. It is reassuring to see upper management be so active in the company and to make sure each individual is happy and being recognized --I am happy to say that I have found a company where I want to grow and stay with, I am fortunate to have Power in my life.

Cons

From the Managers point of view, there aren’t any cons or downsides of working with Power. But I know that the hours are long but the money is worth it!

Pros

Power is a fantastic place to have a career. They offer many opportunities to train and learn new skills to help you advance your career. You have access to so many resources and leadership of all levels to learn from and grow with. Most companies talk about culture, but Power walks the walk. From leadership conferences, basketball and hockey tournaments to the year end party in Mexico, this will be the last place I work.

Cons

The stakes are high at Power. We work very hard and have high expectations. Due to the industry we are in there are unconventional hours and dealing with the elements.

Pros

Great culture. You’ll make genuine friends here and have a ton of support. Competitiveness is fun and not toxic. Training is top notch, but hard. Pay is at thrive if you follow their process.

Cons

Communication in training schedule isnt great. Things tend to change last minute so if you’re a parent it’s hard. You might have a lot of down time between appts but again, if you have children they will basically be with a nanny 24/7 unless you have a stay at home parent. Training pay is not great so you need to have savings going in, but will end up being worth it.
