Working at Power means long hours and "easy" money that is not at all easy to make. - Field Marketing Representative Power Home Remodeling Employee Review

Pros

The people I worked with were amazing. The RVP is an okay person, definitely lenient, but things are changing quickly.

Cons

Long, long days. You work outside in all conditions, and some managers don't seem to really care for you at all in bad weather. There are a lot of money bonuses available, but they are a lot harder to hit than they make you think. There's more than just income tax taken out of your paycheck, there is commission tax taken as well, which really diminishes your paycheck. A $2000 bonus is actually $1300. The morning meetings are pointless usually.

Pros

The training and support are second to none. There is a clear investment in developing employees, and leadership is always available to coach and help you improve. The culture is competitive in a healthy way—everyone is encouraged to perform at a high level, but one person’s success doesn’t come at the expense of someone else’s. There are plenty of opportunities for advancement if you’re willing to put in the work, and I appreciated being trusted with growth opportunities early in my time here.

Cons

The performance standards are high, and the role isn’t for everyone. It can be stressful at times because your results are measured closely, but the expectations are communicated clearly.
